First post!

Following in the footsteps of others, I decided to keep a blog while traveling to Italy this summer! I wasn't sure if I wanted to send out mass e-mail updates, or just post events and happenings in a blog ... maybe the best way to go about it is doing a little of both. I will be spending 3 weeks in Florence, Italy for an intensive study abroad class - The Art History of Renaissance Florence (or something to that affect). If things go as planned, I will also be taking a few day trips to Cinque Terre, Venice, and Verona. T-minus 10 days until I'm on a plane to ITALIA! :)
