Getting ready!

Italy is getting closer and closer! I can't believe it. It seems like I've been waiting for this for such a long time, and now it's right around the corner! I am slowly gathering things that I need to pack, and plan on pulling down the suitcase sometime this weekend. Still need to buy my art supplies for the drawing portion of the class, but that should be all I need to buy. Just need to pick up my drycleaning and contact lenses, and then I plan on getting my hair cut, toenails painted, and eyebrows waxed so I'll be lookin' good in Firenze! I'm hoping that before I leave I'll be able to mail in this application I have for a Fellowship. A little extra money couldn't hurt! I hope I get it...

I'm nervous to be away from home for so long, especially to be away from Nick (boyfriend!) and Maggie (my cat). BUT ... I'm very excited for this amazing experience. I look forward to taking a lot of pictures and documenting the trip so I'll be able to recall the trip in the future, and to describe it to friends back home!
